Hunting the Rogues

A good hunter must always be prepared. I spent the day exercising followed by a relaxing bath and a short nap before sunset. I felt fully prepared for the evening, and dressed appropriately for the occassion. Black trousers, black boots, white shirt, black vest and of course my cape, black, lined in red. 'Snice. Just to lie here. Doing absolutely NOTHING.

Normally I can't stand doing nothing, double negatives aside; I have to be moving, thinking, DOING. But right now, with the pain in my back once again lowered to a dull throb, it's so incredibly pleasant not to do anything that I don't even budge from the position Klaus put me in.

Not even embarassed any more. Not really. Come on, Carolyn; not like you haven't been through more embarassing things in your life. Cavity searches remain in MY mind as the worst of those things.

I wonder what doctor they got. A human one, I suppose, although it WOULD top off this Weirdest of Nights if the doc they called in was Varney.
