Changing The World...

1st Lee South Brownies are busy helping with G.UK's Changing the World initiative in the run up to the Centenary. We've got a display of artwork at a local gallery in June to help raise awareness for Plan (having already raised money for them with a cake sale) and now we're moving on to fundraising for Asthma UKThe Brownies have already learned

I've sponsored you (have you considered doing that walk at night i.e. walk under the stars/LaSER's walking challenge? I know for at least some of them that's probably the most they've ever consciously walked at once, WELL DONE your Brownies!!!)

Think we'll be sticking firmly to the daytime: some of our Brownies are Very Wee Indeed + there will hopefully be less drunks bopping about etc... would be fun with Guides or Senior Section though, non?

C'est absolument vrai, and I suspect if we did that with our Brownies we'd be in the same position. However we are MEAN and plan to take them on a three mile walk when we go on Pack Holiday this summer which is DEFINITELY the longest EVER for any of them ;-)

Do you think you could possibly post another reminder about this slightly nearer the time? I would defintiely like to sponsor you (esp. as have asthma too!), but my credit card is Just About To Expire, so I can't really do anything with it until the new one starts (i.e. if I use the old one it's likely to fail to go through), and I have a horrible feeling I'll forget! But if you keep poking your f'list then I'll definitely manage it. :D
