I would have loved to like this fic. but the ending depresses me, and that's really not a state I need to go looking for. it's well written and you have realistic dynamic ooc characters. (and I'm not crying or even remotely close to tears, there is an ambivalence, almost) idk. I want to say something positive, and it really is a brilliant story, but I just can't find it in myself to like it. which is sad in its own way, I suppose.

Hey, I feel the exact same way about this piece! All the while when I was writing it, I kept thinking, "Why am I writing this crap?" I honestly think it's the worst thing I've ever written. But then, something attached me to it. I'm not sure what. There's definitely an ambivalence, as you say. It was hard for me to write. I still can't believe it spanned 14 pages and I wasted a month on it. But I have to finish anything I start, so...

I really wanted a happy ending too, but I started writing it knowing that Jin wouldn't be alive in the end. I didn't write this with the intention of making anyone cry though. x)

The minute I started reading this it captured my heart and held onto it to the very end. Now it won't let me go. I'm crying right now, this was so beautiful and those pictures... Jin hearts Kame right? I didn't get it at first but at the ending I realised it and I got goosebumps and started crying madly.

Now I'm just babbling, but anyway, I love this!

Really? Goosebumps? I didn't intend for this piece to make people cry, but hearing that you did makes me happy in a way. You really feel for Kame~ And yeah, that was the message Jin left. "Jin ♥ Kame". I thought it was a bit vague when I first described the pictures and did so in a mixed up order, so I debated on having them make an appearance near the end of the fic. Glad you understood it in the end!

Ahhhh~ I cry easily, too. xD And I actually really hate character death, so if I know a fic has character death in it, I won't read it, but those fics always become my favorite. xDD For some reason it's easy for me to write it, though. O_o
