The thing is, with one-shots, for me, I start out going off of how I want it to end. I can never think of beginnings first. As I started to write it, I really did want Kame and Jin to have a happy ending, but then there would be no reason for Jin and his girl to break up, and Jin wouldn't have had the same outlook on life, which led to his talks with Kame.

I didn't fashion this piece so that people would cry, but rather want to cry. Feel Kame's loss and all~

Yes, Jin died. The photos that the girl wanted reprinted were the negatives from the first roll Jin dropped off and Kame didn't develop because his shift was over.

And yes, the last three pictures was Jin sending Kame the message "I ♥ Kame" xD

I was actually looking online for pictures that could represent the ones that I described here in this fic, but no luck so far. xD I think I'll post up a request for people to help me find them when I post the one-shot that accompanies this one. =)

Aww. =( That's a sad way to look at it~ But yeah, I understand what you mean. I'm actually writing another fic behind the scenes called 'Photographs We Never Took' (not related to photography at all, despite the title) that has to do with these kids and how it'd be better if they had nothing tangible of their happy moments back then, because it'd just remind them of all the harsh ordeals they've had to overcome in order to reach where they are.
