thankyou so much for making this tutorial. I have tried making brushes before, but I couldn't figure out how to make it where it's any color I want. Once again thankyou, and I can't way to try this tut!

It took me forever and a lot of trial and error and reading to figure that one out. Glad I could help:)

Fabulous, thank you! I somehow didn't get the same number of layers as you, but it worked nonetheless.

I'll save this page so I can do it again. Thanks again. :D

Sometimes it does not matter how many layers you have. Just as long as in the end you have made a beush deisreable in your own eyes. Honestly I would prefer you use your own creativity. I'd love to see what you came up with though, and I am glad you found this useful:)

I did. I am just having trouble keeping my brushes. I have no idea what is going on. They keep disappearing. not just ones I make, but ones I have downloaded from other too. GRRR ARRRGG! Sory, I just was having a moment.

Disappearing how? I know that if you save a brush with Script-Fu and you name it you can use the same name for both the name of the brush and the file name. However you cannot use the same name the next time you make and need to save a brush. I usually name them in order of the brushes that I have made. If you look at my dialog box for this tutorial you will see Bouncerbutch99 for both the brush name and file name, this specific brush will be known as that i my file, but the next brush that I save will be bouncerbutch100 and I will use this for both the name of the brush and the file. If I were to use the same name for the next brush it would just replace the previous brush that I made making it disapear. Same for anyother brush that I download from another maker. I usually name them with the makers name and then the number of the brush depending on how many brushes are in the pack. Does this make sense? If not let me know:) Oh it is okay to have 'moments' with GIMP! We all have them:)
