I nearly died from bad taste after learning how popular Hakuouki is with the Japanese womenfolk. :/ Sure, the art is NICE, but I can't get the story oowwww.
Of course, considering what OTHER fandom I'm in, I don't really have a leg to stand on in matters of taste...
the art is really nice.... but after 7 episodes of the anime i still can't get rid of the stereotypes i have from gintama :x the story is just... absolutely lacking XD;
I haven't read Gintama that much lately, to be honest, but I have a giant pet peeve with Lazy Shinsengumi Dramas In Which Okita Souji Tragically Shows Up, Tragically Speaks and Tragically Dies. So I understand that Hijikata is the Lead Man of the show, but STILL.
And I don't really like Chizuru. I mean. If you can't fight well in an age where not fighting well gets you splattered faster than making TV dinner, DON'T FIGHT.
