Well that explains some of the characters i've encountered over the years in the city, lol. Kinda makes you wonder, hmmm ;) I know the movie has scenes in SF.. wonder if it's more than the GG Bridge.
It has been a lot of fun so far. We wanted some place very much unlike New York, and far away from "The Mansion" to really get into the day to day lives of mutants living elsewhere in the country, and "on their own". We are almost entirely original character, and have a nice core so far of good and active players, that we hope to expand.
Games like this really do better when you get more people and more personalities (read: more relationships, more conflict, more plot), so we have been trying to step up our efforts to bring more people in. I know that this community was where at least one of our players (possibly two) came from.
I am anxious to see what kind of a glimpse we get of SF in the movie as well.
Well... none of us is farther west than.. um Kentucky I think. It would be crazy cool to have someone that really knows the city on board... Actually it would be cool to have more folks in general, but you are right, it is quite a "time sink", and does require no small investment of time. you are more than welcome to peek.
