Well, I know nothing about colleges, but I wanted to point out that California money is very different from East Coast money. :) You're not going to be walking into Gossip Girl or anything.

Really? Okay, that settles me. :) My main concern is that I'll be confronted with the whole.."OH MY GAWD, LIKE THAT'S SO LAST SEASON!" I think I'd cry tears of Target. :P

USC is a huge school. Just because 'a lot of people with money' got there means pretty much nothing. You'll find your people and ignore the people you don't want to deal with.

Actually, yeah I do. And you're going to be like "What the fuck are you talking about, I've never heard of this, don't talk to me." But hear me out first. Before I was going into special education, I was 100% planning on becoming a PR major, which is a central part to a lot of journalism and mass communication programs. Now, I live in Ohio, and I can't afford a private school, so I was only looking at state colleges. I found that Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio, is amazing. It's the number one public college (but NOT open enrollment) in the state of Ohio. Kent is a very quaint school, it's big but not massive. The city has downtown areas, a lot of it is artsy, and it's about 30 minutes from Cleveland, and an hour from Pittsburgh.

They have what's called "The School of Journalism and Mass Communications" or "JMC". It's tough. I interviewed for it, I talked to the professors, I applied, everything. I looked at all the kids' work, and it was prestidgious. Kent actually built a whole new building for it on their main campus because ( ... )

Wow, thanks! I hadn't looked at any Ohio schools (the only one I looked at in the mid-west was Ball State), but I've been to Cleveland and thought it was a lovely city. A cute city. :) Plus, it's about an 8 hour drive from me. Thanks again! I'll be sure to look into it. :)
