your fear of being hurt holds you back

Beautiful. God, that line can sum up my life sometimes.

This was lovely and haunting and sad. It resonates with me because I think whether in love or in a job or in some other situation, we can all relate. Holding back in fear. Great theme. Well done.

Thanks! :) That was the main thing I wanted to get across. I tend to write a lot from personal experience, and this theme just seemed to fit Scotty so well.

Oh my God! I just hit your fic site. I am so excited! I saw a Michael Garnett/Jim Slater fic. I remember that article! *going to read now*

Wanted to let ya know I really enjoyed your Jimmy Slater/Michael Garnett fic. That article was so cute. I cook, he eats; I pay the electric bill, he turns things on. LOL.

I am a huge Garnett fan. I collect his hockey cards. Him and Kozlov.

Hockey fics always make me tear up for some reason (maybe because I always read the angsty ones instead of the smutty ones). But, whatever, it was beautiful.

Unrequited love makes me dissolve into a puddle of salty tears, don't mind the mess.

*giggles* Me too. I read angst and then end up thinking, 'Oh my gosh, these writers have no soul!' when really, I only read the ones with death and despair. :P
