Cashews are tasty, indeed. I like macadamia nutz and brazil nuts too... they're all very rich and fatty.
Other nuts are good, but should be soaked 24 hours (in a water and seasalt solution) and then dried (in a warm oven or food dehydrator) prior to eating... like walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts. Soaking and drying or soaking and turning into nut milk is a very old traditional way of preparing nuts that actually removes all the anti-nutrients from the nuts that make them distasteful to us and very difficult to digest. Funny eh? I learned it from the book Nourishing Traditions.. freakin' amazing book.
