A war, a draft.  We have been brought here to fight for a cause that has nothing to do with us?

It is amazing the faith they place in us.  Have they only studied our ability, or our natures as well?  Bringing us here against our will seems foolhardy, as I (and I am sure certain others) remember all too well that things can fall apart from the ( Read more... )

And thus someone points out the obvious.

Plot and treason? The hell'd where you come from? You're new, aren't you?

Indeed, this place is novel to me.

And I thought that fact was obvious, indeed, but perhaps they hadn't realized it if they merely expect us to stand idle and accept it.

...

I suppose you have a cuff on either of your wrists. That's the reason why none of us could stage a rebellion of some sort. They're limiters. Sort of like that.

Better watch your back here.

Is that what these are called? What do they do?

Yeah, tell me about it. These people have about as much foresight as a blind man with his head on backwards.

... Okay, that one could use some work. Sorry.

Hmph.

They have put defense mechanisms against us, but still... Mmm, foolish.

Foolish isn't quite the word I'd use... I'd go with "blind", personally. Or "so freaking stupid it hurts".

You would, wouldn't you.

Regardless, they can't be as stupid as they look. How else could they have forced us here to overpower us?

Oh my.

I would have sought you, but it seems you have found me first. So prompt.

You would have sought me? No one ever does, no one ever will.

So. Which one are you. You speak the same but... You never know.

My dear, it sounds as though you don't want to be found.

Which.... one? I don't understand.

The natures of people vary far and wide, so it is not a matter of bringing specific beings, but rather clashing them together.

Indeed. It is the error of them if they encounter traitors, for no being would want to be in a forced existance or environment.

Ideals clash, treason ensues. It is a consequence of forcing them where they don't want to be.

So. You're new here as well?

And from what I've heard, there's no way to escape 'Econtra' and remain bodily intact, not that I'm going to stop trying. We might as well hone our skills a bit while we're here.

Mmm, yes, I am new.

There is no way? At least some beings still have perseverance.

Indeed, it is something to do until we find a way out.
