There is a rather sheepish looking wolf youkai scouring the Nexus today. You see, interdimensional time being what it is, he's lost track of it and wound up coming with his collection of gifts a day late. Whoops! Oh well, hopefully no one minds getting a pick-me-up the day after the festivities are, for the most part, over.

Aya calls out to Ginta.

"Aya!" He grins before digging a silver package with a blue bow out of the bunch (it's wrapped nicely enough that one might suspect he had help with it).

"Happy Christmas... or day after. Um, I kinda got a little backward in keeping up with the days between here and my world." He rubs at the back of his neck a little sheepishly before handing her the gift. Inside is a leather gauntlet overlaid with simple but striking iron work pattern. One of those kinds of things that walks the line between practical armor and jewelry. It is in good shape but it is clear from the occasional scratch on the surface that it is not new.

"It's okay. It worked better this way."

She is less concerned with the gift than pulling him close and holding him. Only after that is done does she concern herself with the package.

She smiles softly and lightly touches the gauntlet. "It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Thank you."

She ducks her head embarrassedly. "Your gift is back home."

Then holding there shall be! Perhaps even nuzzling.

He smiles warmly at her reaction, looking just a touch distant for a second, as if remembering something. "I'm really glad you like it. I can't take credit for picking it out, though. It, heh, belonged to my mother."

He laughs, amused at the fact that she's embarrassed when he's the one who came late, and wraps an arm around her waist. "Well, good. Nice and safe, then."

'Sup, Ginta, have a Sarah lounging onna couch over here! She has a bag with her as well, but doesn't seem on the lookout for anyone.

Well then, Sarah, prepare to be pounced! (For 'pounced' read 'tapped on the shoulder and grinned at'.)

"Hello!" A small, shiny red bag is thrust in her direction. "Merry holidays!"

Inside the bag there will be a plush polar bear Pez dispenser and a little bag full of hot cocoa mix and marshmallows made up to look like a snowman.

Wheeee, pouncing! Though REAL pouncing is much more fun~ Sarah jumps a bit at the tap and grins at Ginta. "Oh, cool! Thanks! Hold on, I've got yours too..." After a bit of rummaging in the bag Sarah comes up with a large tin box. Inside is a whole variety of sweets: brownies, gingerbread and sugar cookies, mini apple turnovers, and even a little bag of rum balls. "Merry Christmas~"

"Oh, wow." He peers at each sweet curiously, but seems particularly interested in the apple turnovers. "These look great."

Aaaand he just can't resist. He picks up one of the turnovers and takes a bite. "Mm, tastes great, too. Thanks, Sarah!"

'Sheepish-looking wolf.' Teehee.

Ramon spies Ginta in his wandering and gives him a wave from across the way. It's a good chance that Ginta would have spotted him first anyways, seeing that yon castellan has the bodyguards with him today. Hi, Hands!

Is a wolf in sheepish countenance more convincing than a wolf in sheep's clothing? :D It is a question for the ages.

Ginta grins as he sees Ramon... and falters a bit as he sees the hands. He's never quite sure how to take those guys. He's also wondering if maybe he should get them something out of the bag so that they don't feel left out, but he has no clue what they would like. In any case, reciprocal waving goes here.

"Hey, Ramon! I've got something for you." Ginta fishes out a gold bag with blue tissue paper and hands it to the castellan. The bag contains a small photo book with a simple black cover. Inside is a collection of pictures of various youkai from Ginta's world (many of which are sadly more blurry than intended, particularly the ones where it looks like the youkai is running at the photographer).

The Hands will be glad to be left out of gift-giving, as they really are hard to shop for. It's difficult to pick out something who's whole existence revolves around the preservation of another. Maybe just making Master happy is enough for them!

Ramon takes the gift with a smile and grateful nod, then opens it up. First he admires the cover, then turns it open to the pages. His eyebrows are up immediately, and he's soon leafing through all the pages, marveling at all the variety of demons captured in its pages.

"It's...amazing! Gracias, Ginta! Muchas gracias!"

Ginta grins widely at how well the photos are received.

"I'm glad you like it! It's neat how interested you are in my world and since there's not much that tells of it accurately I thought this'd be nice. Gotta say, it was kinda fun figuring out how to working with one of those camera things."
