I feel similar about most things.

Benedict's acting was fantastic, but I feel like all of Khan that really came through was the name and the fighting bit and the backstory.

Carol Marcus could've been so much more. She could've done so much more. But no...

I did absolutely love Uhura. She was kicking ass, and saving their asses a couple times.

And Arrow. Wow. That was unexpected, but so fantastic. I don't know if I've ever seen a show that's packed that much into its first season, or done its first season that well.

Doctor Who... It was amazing. It was unexpected all the way through, it was original, it fit with the entire rest of the series, and it actually made complete sense and didn't feel hand-wave-y. But then the very end.... WHAT?!? (I think he's the Valeyard)

I love Uhura as a kickass character. I remember being slightly annoyed at her during the Classic series ( ... )

Interesting thoughts about Doctor Who...

I was less annoyed at Uhura during the classic series and more annoyed with the fact that the woman was basically just the starship version of the secretary/eye candy/token female. I didn't mind her character much, though.

Completely agree on Arrow and Supernatural! Watch SPN yesterday and I flailed like a madwoman for that ending. It was perfect in my eyes, completely perfect :D And OMG the possibilities for next season! I am so excited :D

Arrow. All what you said XD Oh god if Diggle had died :O Nope! Not that I like Tommy dying. Id rather have seen Laurel die, but we all knew that wasn't gonna happen.. Is there anyone that ships Laurel/Oliver? I haven't heard it :S I hope they soon go away with that next season, because major meh.

Also really liked DW. But I have a question: my entire twitter TL went completely nuts after the John Hurt reveal, wondering how the hell they kept that quiet, but.. John Hurt said in an interview the week before how he was going to be an intrical part of the Doctor. Maybe I happened to interpret that correctly as literally the Doctor, but did you hear this? Because I'm completely confused if I by accident interpreted something correctly and no one else did and I was the only one not having my head blown off :S

I was so sure Diggle would die that I started crying when he volunteered to help Oliver against Malcolm. Ugh, Laurel. The fact that she would be more useful to the story dead already says everything about her character.

The casting spoiler has been going around for a while and that he would play some part of the Doctor, but he was announced for the 50th special, not the finale. That's what was shocking for me. And squeeworthy.

When he made his way up to the roof I was really seriously worried for a second and when he got hurt I was in all sort of states LOL Not that I didn't scream at the screen when Laurel ran outside and Tommy wasn't close behind. I knew enough then :(

Ah good! I really thought I was going crazy! I knew the finale ended on a cliffy from the people who had gotten their dvds early, so when he was standing there I figured it had to be him. But I'm glad that spoiler was indeed going around, as I thought I was going crazy.

I loved the movie!!! I agree with you on needing more McCoy but only because of my love for Karl Urban. However, since he's going to be on my TV every week this fall in Abrams' "Almost Human" I forgive JJ for not having him here as much. :D

As to Dr. Marcus, I believe she is there for a little more than eye candy. It's a nod to the older Star Trek movies. In ST2: The Wrath of Khan, she is the mother of Kirk's son.

Exactly. She should be important but she barely did anything in the movie.

That Arrow finale really was something else. I did not even wait for the next morning, I watched it right at 2 AM ( ... )

That was some finale! It totally blew me away! I really didn't expect a lot of things that happened, and the things I did expect came in a completely different way, so I'll stay tunned for season 2.
