Personally, I see people who vote republican as no different from those who are approached by someone expressing the intent to kill me, and hand them the gun to do the deed - because that, in essence, is what the republican party stands for: killing off people like me. As such, i find it hard to consider anyone with that cavalier attitude about my life and well-being to be a 'friend'.

Not a prob :) And thank YOU. I hope to wake up Nov 5 with feelings of hope, and not dread. I own a home and this is NO time to sell a home to move to the UK, because that's what I'd be looking to do if McCain wins....

I've contributed to campaigns before...but this is the first time I've contributed to multiple races in one election cycle. I've given to Obama, the DCCC, and the Democratic opponents of Michele "McCarthy" Bachmann and Robin "Liberals hate real Americans" Hayes.

But seriously, folks...after you've given out of your wallet, what I really wanna stress is the need to donate your TIME.

I know the polls look good right now...but the raw truth is that polls don't vote on election day. This election, like every election, will be won on the ground. This last week's efforts to Get Out The Vote will determine who wins or loses this election. Drop dead serious.Even if you're in MA, where Obama is a shoe-in, I can guarantee you there will be a mass migration into Southern NH. NH will be won from Manchester to Nashua. McCain has always played well in NH, so numbers are definitely going to count. There's a name for something whose numbers are plentiful and strong...it's called a movement ( ... )
