I've contributed to campaigns before...but this is the first time I've contributed to multiple races in one election cycle. I've given to Obama, the DCCC, and the Democratic opponents of Michele "McCarthy" Bachmann and Robin "Liberals hate real Americans" Hayes.

But seriously, folks...after you've given out of your wallet, what I really wanna stress is the need to donate your TIME.

I know the polls look good right now...but the raw truth is that polls don't vote on election day. This election, like every election, will be won on the ground. This last week's efforts to Get Out The Vote will determine who wins or loses this election. Drop dead serious.

Even if you're in MA, where Obama is a shoe-in, I can guarantee you there will be a mass migration into Southern NH. NH will be won from Manchester to Nashua. McCain has always played well in NH, so numbers are definitely going to count. There's a name for something whose numbers are plentiful and strong...it's called a movement.

So please please please give your free hours and days off to the Obama Campaign for Change. Even if you've never volunteered before, these people are smart, and they'll help find the role that works best for everyone involved. Every man and woman is a star in the constellation of Obama. :^)
