He knows there's something magical about the other boy, Changmin just knows it. Certain things are expected when there's an add-drop of members. And when Korea had so easily accepted the addition that was Cho Kyuhyun, Changmin knew he had to investigate - during their next vacation of course.

It's just the small things. Like how he eats, chews on the right side of his mouth more than the left, smirks more than he smiles (Changmin is thinking maybe he doesn't know how to -- but he's the one with the really uneven eyes so he's not talking), and speaks when he's spoken to -- and the words that come out. Changmin likes its spunk. And by it he means his newest little science research subject. And by science research subject he does not mean stalkee.

Changmin likes to wear glasses when he visits. He watches closely at dinner while Yunho and Shindong are chatting up about something ('No, you're really great.', 'No, no, you are'), Jaejoong and Yehsung are doing each other's hair ('Will this get us more air time?'), Junsu and Eunhyuk are off somewhere pretending to be mean to one another ('Yah, why are you here?'), and Yoochun and Donghae finding amusement in a fake gun fight ('BAM!','Ahhh! hahaha! I'm down.'). Kyuhyun is like an enigma when he doesn't speak. Changmin doesn't know if it's part of Kyuhyun's image to be cute, sexy, or enigma-like.
"Changmin."
That's his cue to stop judging him by the color tie he wears, "Hm?" Kibum shoots you a look; he's the only one that knows about your little research adventure.
"Yams?"
"Oh, yes please."

"So when does this experiment end?"
"Experiment?"
"You know, where I pretend to not notice you taking down notes about everything I do."
"That was one ti-- I mean, what? I don't know what you're talking about?"
"I'm really special, huh?" Changmin decides that Kyuhyun is very snarky.
"Not particularly. I find myself more amazing."
They share a laugh and Changmin just knows that this is the beginning of something beautiful.
"So, Changmin, I wonder if what they say about tall men is true."
Oh what.
"I don't know. How do you propose finding out?"
"An experiment."
Definitely something very beautiful.
