maxis grunge: part 1
I decided to start this project in the quest to match my game a little better. I use a lot of Maxis objects, most of which are without usable recolours (meaning none of the decrepit variety), so I am, perhaps foolishly, attempting to make at least one grungy recolour of every Maxis object I use. Yes, it is a ridiculously HUEG project, not something I would ordinarily take on, but the mismatch bothers me, and chances are, if it bothers me, it bothers someone else too. Truthfully, it was a pain in the neck tracking down everything I recoloured in this first set, but I'm hoping someone else will get some use out of these (or at least find the grunge more appealing than the white/light wood/medium wood/dark wood combo that Maxis so graciously offers on most of their objects).
There are 1-2 recolours of each item, in grungy, filthy, or both, depending on what looked better/what I wanted.

Files are compressorized and named as descriptively as possible, so it should be easy to delete what you don't want. In the read me, I've included a list of which EPs/SPs the different objects are from to avoid mass confusion. Consult it if need be. Credits go to Maxis for the meshes, and Google for the grunge. Sorry for the black background of doom, I couldn't be arsed to take aesthetically appealing previews for everything.
*If the metal frame on this is recolourable, I couldn't find out how to do it. Sorry.
