I did an evil thing. The Book I just reviewed "Childs Play" was bought on a book buy, partially because it's about Dublin. I just discovered that it's being bought for the Irish Collection, what are they going to do when they discover that a) it's basically a mills and boon and b) it's got SEQUELS!!

yesterday I discovered my Credit Card has gone for a walk (it's more than likely somewhere in the house and it hasn't been used in a while)today, I got to the bus stop to discover that I didn't have my bus ticket or wallet with me, so I had to rush back to the house to get my ticket, Dave couldn't find my wallet. Okay, here I am with the Oxford Companion to Irish Literature, and while it's pretty annoying that James White didn't make it, or any other (it appears) SF/Fantasy author, my major gripe with this book is consistency. I love working for the public sector, I get time off to go to functions, good feeds were had at the launch of the Ballyfermot Citizens Information Centre, and I had 2 1/2 hours standing around interfacing with other community leaders. Also I get sick pay, time off to make medical appointments and the works... I love my job ( Read more... )
