Yeah they apparently use metal staples for wounds sometimes, don't ask me I knows nothing, they looked a bit wierd tho..

I really just more meant what he needed the staples for. Didn't realise he'd been wounded (why does that sound like some romantic period battle thing?). I haven't been paying *nearly* enough attention to friends lately *sheepish*

Dave had hernia surgery friday week. He has two weeks of enforced rest which is doing him the world of good!!, the scar is longer than it should be as they thought it was something else!! Don't worry about missing stuff, it happens to us all.

Yeah... Dave's ringing around trying to get me into a clinic before monday, with not much luck.. this may get too complicated!

almost unfortunately it was good while it lasted!!
