Finally got the phone to cooperate with the Livejournal app, tho it appears to want Capitalise Every Bloody Word.
My phone offered me an update recently (aka yesterday) so now it has Lolipop. Which makes the Ice cream sandwitch on the tablet positively archaic. So i may have to see if I can root it, at this stage the installed aps are taking too ( Read more... ) -
perfume day 1
I'm starting discussing this today, but I actually started wearing perfume yesterday.
for me, for years perfume is something you wear on special occasions, something I have a bit of a complicated relationship with because my skin reacts in funny ways to a lot of perfumes, it often catches strange parts of the scent picture and latches onto them, ( Read more... ) -
accidents that help
at some stage last summer I did something to my left shoulder. it was sore for months, I had an injection of steroids and anasthetic into it, at one stage it flared so badly I couldn't even write my own name. I had issues knitting and stress was building

new year
and i'm back in work and with still a fairly painful shoulder. only now I have a rather nifty tablet (a Sony Tablet P, clamshell piece of cuteness) which has predictive text and I can almost touch-type on it, so there are occasional chances of daily updates. I did mean to start yesterday but forgot.

Book-organising online
I've been updating my Goodreads library, mostly because it's there and they do have competitions occasionally for books, which is all good. I have no pride when it comes to free books. it honestly never ceases to amaze me why people tell me I was "mad" to buy during the boom. I had little or no bloody choice.
