Time is running wild willowtreedance January 3 2012, 08:21:13 UTC
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test

And now for something different ...

Did you see "Endeavour" last night?
Love a penny for your thoughts ... when you have time to spend a penny (oh that doesn't sound right :D). He made a very good young detective Wycliffe I thought? He sounded and acted very like him. But that's the wrong show, lol. I thought "Endeavour" was pretty good, though.

I'm a believer! Yes! But also a realist. :)

Keep at it! And was all that about time about Doctor Who? I feel as though I'm the only person in the universe who isn't in on Who. The, yes, Doctor, no.

nothing to do with da who - just talking about time and its quirks.
especially since it took two hours to edit that entry coz i forgot the RTE is pants and had to load each edit one word at a time!!!!!!!!!

sorry if i've missed you at all recently - just nudge me if i do; there are some folks like yourself, rouka, 2z2, Jen and others that i appreciate more than i think they realise.
all the very best to you for the nu-year! :))

Doctor No was a bit naff though wasn't he?

latitudinal/longitudinal time derhofnarr January 3 2012, 16:59:49 UTC
It’s raining . . . and with each drop of rain which gently falls
I think of you . . . and smile
It’s raining . . . and now the wind is whistling through the trees
And whips about the white-capped waves and
I think of you . . . and smile
And as I sit alone all by myself in my promontory post
While the storm rages oh so fiercely . . . I wonder why
Why is it . . . How can it be

That time’s passed by so swiftly
Without a second glance
Flowing by me oh so quickly
Not giving me another chance
To say the things I want to say
To do the things needing to be done . . .
But after all, I’m only one.

Used to be time was abundant like the forest filled with trees
But now . . . all stripped and barren - as if stricken with disease
Unable to be remedied or cured - but time is still the same -
It is I who have been changed - my perception has been altered - now I see
That time itself is solely a temporal entity.
There will come a time when Time itself shall be destroyed.

with its fingers. once.
