Another Sunday has gone into the books of boring Sundays. . .well I guess this one had a little more interest.

All was plodding along as normal with supper nigh ready: the chicken roasted to perfection; the salad made and waiting on the counter; and the wild rice that takes an hour to cook was off the burner and gently steaming for the last 10 ( Read more... )

 Well for once the weather advisory was correct. . .much to my dismay.

A look down my street as I attempt to shift over a foot of new snow that dropped over night. Not much to look at eastward: an unploughed street and snow banks. Welcome to my world.

The Big Brrrrr has hit. Woke up to a balmy -31 C this morning. . .was only suppose to go down to -20 C. Such is weather forecasting. There was a slight breeze so add in some windchill to the temp calculation. Brass monkeys!

Had a fresh dump of snow the other day which only added to the already mounting feet. Thank you Holda. . .er. . .Ullr. . .er. . .no Holda. . .
