Kitty & Annie Update

Kitty has fluid around his lungs.  Heart looks and sounds good.  Lungs do not sound like they have fluid in them.  His intestines on the x-ray, in fact his whole abdominal cavity, look almost like he swallowed a sponge-there are few lines in the intestines, kidneys are hard to spot and his spleen was unfindable on x-ray AND when she felt him.  ( Read more... )

again, you are a good kitty Mom. Does the one kitty have fluid in his abdominal area too, besides the lungs? The fluid might be why he's throwing up, no place for the food to go at this time. Hope all is better with the meds.:)

Thank you

It doesn't LOOK/Feel like there is fluid in abdomen, but that might explain the foggy xray.

Part of my husbands illness was a build up of fluid at times and there were times when it was so bad that nothing would stay in and his x-rays also were cloudy because of this. But it sounds like you are on the right track anyway with the lasix meds.

I agree - you are a wonderful kitty Mama! You take such good care of your babies and care so much about them! I know it's hard for you to watch them go through these health problems. More hugs and snuggles for you and the kitties!
