*flails* How can NaNoWriMo only be three months away? I don't have anything planned! Okay, not entirely true. I have several ideas that I could choose from. I want to work on the ideas, but I don't know where to start. NaNoWriMo kind of forces you to to pick a place. It's 3 months away! Oh no! Maybe I can actually do it this year. *is excited to try again*

I've also been looking into software to help organize me. I have no doubt I can write an original novel, but I do need some serious help organizing.

This year I'm writing on my Apple iBook. Scrivener is the best software for the job for Macs. I found it while looking for something comparable to RoughDraft for Windows, and it does everything RD does and more. Very good for organizing.

Too bad it's only for Mac. I'd love it for Windows.

I use screenwriting software to write screenplays, I don't know why I never thought I should be using something similar for novels. *ponders* I think I'm going to have to check that out! :)

I started a new novel this morning. I'm wondering if I can get it finished before November, so I don't have to leave it hanging during Nanowrimo. Lately I've been getting ideas for short stories instead of novels. So, I'm exploring that too. There just aren't enough hours in the day!
