Oh boy I can see all my co-workers jump for joy at the cheap alcohol. I'd like to go to Korea one day if I had enough money.

But what alcohol content level are they used to? Soju is like 20%. The cheapest one also tastes like rubbing alcohol, but that's the trade-off ^^

The people I've worked with tend to drink alcohol of differnt content levels. In fact England has this notorious reputation for binge drinking so if people want cheap booze they'll go for it like wild animals ^^;;

I think every country has a binge drinking issue >.

Thanks for sharing. That's very interesting.

I think that Northern cities have less wildlife because of the cold, whereas a tropical place has lots of wildlife (birds, lizards, insects, animals, snakes, etc). I noticed the difference between Tampa and Minneapolis.

Speaking of the differences, I also noticed the differences in the populations between the 2 cities. Tampa has just about every shape, color, age, and size, but go to Minneapolis and it's overwhelmingly fit, white, 20 to 30 somethings who all wear colorless clothes. When you come from a diverse place it's strange to visit a place where 90% of the people are homogeneous.

Oh no! Koreas smoke? *falls over*
Do they smoke indoors too?
I guess that ends any plans I had to visit, cigarette/cigar smoke makes me DEATHLY ill. *feels green just thinking about it*

I think it's just coz it's a city that's full of people and polluted. Outside of Seoul, there's definitely wildlife.

I think in most places people don't smoke indoors. You should still go. People smoke all over the world. Just avoid whose who smoke =)

Seoul is polluted? I saw some hazy photos of it and I thought that maybe it was fog, but it's pollution? Like Beijing polluted ( ... )

Definitely not Beijing polluted. I suppose it's like a normal city sort of polluted.

I don't know if there's in indoor smoking ban actually. But I do remember people are always smoking outdoors, so maybe there is one. Most airconditioned places people won't smoke indoors. I believe the most annoying thing I had was people who had just finished a cigarette sitting next to me in class/the train/bus.
