Pretty salad
I had a lovely salad for lunch yesterday and today. Yesterday, when we had lunch very late so it was not that long before dinnertime, we ate it from a bowl; today I had my lunch early and expect to have a lot to do before dinner, so I made a slightly heartier meal out of it by wrapping it in flour tortillas. Baked goods
I appear to have caught the baking virus again. The brownies I baked (again) last week aren't even all gone yet, and I made a batch of lemon squares last night (I found the recipe when looking for 'something to do with the lemons and oranges I have left' and baked them late at night when I was too restless to go to sleep yet ( Read more... ) -
Pasta

Cookies!
Yeah, I know, I said I was going to post more... Not sure what happened to all those posts I had planned...

Courgette soup
hennes has an allotment for the first year, and the most prominent yields of this until now are huge (up to 3.5 kilo) courgettes (zucchini/squash). So far I have been given three of them. Cooking just for me
This weekend I've had to cook for just myself 3 times. So, I figured I'd have food that was enjoyable enough to make up for the lack of company.
