Yesterday was one of those days that everything i touched or tried to accomplishg went wrong.  I broke things, lost things, hit dead ends...sheesh.   So about 1100, I threw in the white towel and just stopped trying.

Took Tug in to the vet for his gimpyness.  Poor dude has, what looks like, some sort of patellar displacement.  Maybe congenital - it'

Sorry to hear Tug's got a problem. Seventy pounds!!?? Gee whiz, that's what our Akita/Saluki weighs, and she's huge. I bet Tug's heft is more muscle, though.

He is a chunk of dense biomass. Tom says he looks like a beer keg with stumpy legs :)

Aww, poor Tug - you need to get him a trampoline so he can get up into your car!!

Is the patellar thing why he sits so strangely?

yeah, it's part of it - he keeps that leg straight 'cause it feels better. we are definitely going down to the CSU Vet Hopsital for surgery. the breeder has been AWESOME and says they will pick up the tab since it's a congenital thing.
