Yesterday was one of those days that everything i touched or tried to accomplishg went wrong. I broke things, lost things, hit dead ends...sheesh. So about 1100, I threw in the white towel and just stopped trying.
Took Tug in to the vet for his gimpyness. Poor dude has, what looks like, some sort of patellar displacement. Maybe congenital - it's like the there is no cartilage to keep the tendon and knee cap in place, so it pops out all the time. He's been carrying that back leg stiffly as of late. It will most likely require surgical repair, but it has a high success rate. It's not like there is something wrong with the bone. Thankfully, the hips are fine.
I couldn't believe when they put him on the scale that at 9 months, he's a svelte 70 pounds. Every one loves him - he is such a cool guy. And he gets so excited when he goes anywhere in the car - he loves people, too.
We were coming out and there was this huge ancient Rottweiler, it was funny to see him do a u-turn. He's never seen another dog that big.
My Tug Boat, how I love that darned dog :)
