I'm sorry to hear about this, but...

"Don't waste your lives, people. Dead end jobs, dead-end relationships, dead end places to live, dead end dreams. Epic Failures. Get your heads on straight and live."

Thanks for the reminder. And I say that in all seriousness.

It really shouldn't take tragedies to remind you of this, though should it?

No, but unfortunately it often seems to work that way.

*hugs*

Once again, I am kind of sorry that I am really white. :/ Wish I could help.

I hope she finds a donor. My apologies and sympathy. It's been a bad week for this sort of thing.

"It's been a bad week for this sort of thing."

Like there's ever a GOOD week for this?
Thanks for your sympathy. I've been in need of good friends as of late.

If any of you know of any healthy people of Eurasian descent over age 18, please contact me at cocoamix at mac dot com, and I can give you info as to how they can be tested with a simple cheek swab to see if they are a match for her.

Well, that'd be me, but define what you mean by healthy? Plus, the distance.

Either way, I'm sorry to hear about this! let me know if I can be of assistance.

By healthy, I mean no genetic diseases or serious pre-existing medical conditions. You can have the swab test done almost anywhere and the results can be sent to Erica's doctor.

I can find out more for you and give you a call later. I really appreciate your offer and friendship.

Ok, nothing like that on my end....just common allergies and asthma, but that's about it. ;>

We should take this off-line. Feel free to contact me anytime (although, in my immediate future, I'm going to see about getting some good sleep in ;>).

I'm a donor with the national registry.. have been for a couple of years. The swab test is incredibly easy, and everyone that's commented here should do it. Everyone should do it, period.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I sincerely hope that she finds a match, and as soon as humanly possible.
