Life isn't fair

My cousin Erica's cancer came back after two years of remission. It's no longer Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. It's Acute Myeloid Leukemia, the same kind that took my mother 14 years ago.

She is in desperate need of a bone marrow donor, as we have been unable to find a match for her. If any of you know of any healthy people of Eurasian descent over age 18, please contact me at cocoamix at mac dot com, and I can give you info as to how they can be tested with a simple cheek swab to see if they are a match for her.

I've already found a few people. divia, you and your sister are angels. quotamour, I was going to ask you because I know you have a kind heart, but given your medical conditions, you wouldn't be a viable candidate.

I see so many horrible people whose pointless lives go on seemingly forever, yet someone as intelligent, kind, and beautiful as Erica has something like this happen to her. Don't waste your lives, people. Dead end jobs, dead-end relationships, dead end places to live, dead end dreams. Epic Failures. Get your heads on straight and live.

Anyway,it would royally suck if cancer claimed another victory over my family.

Really makes some of the petty shit, such as drama with my Ex, seem quaint by comparison.
