What I'm doing feels very pokey (slow, that is). Even if I'm poking with plaster, paint, hammer, saw, and other more-useful-than-a-stick tools.

I know you all will wait for me, but more and more I'm feeling that in this instance, on my part at least, patience is not a virtue.

Although if you'd mix pigment into the plaster,
you might save a step...

Nah--unpainted plaster tends to crack and peel and it isn't very washable.

I have to repair some plaster repairs that I didn't paint fast enough already. I'm not interested in repeating that experiment!
