Arthur woke up with a groan, his sight was blurred as he tried to recall where he was.

"Ah, finally awake. I was getting tired of entertaining myself."

The young prince blinked a few times at the black cloud in front of him until the strange shape formed a smiling young man.

"You see, I'm not that much of a talker myself so I guess you can imagine how the conversations went."

Arthur groaned loudly as he found his movements restricted.

"Exactly, I started talking to the wall behind you and walls are even less funny than you would think they are."

"Stop talking and untie me."

"Good growl!" On second blink Arthur noticed that the man was casually sitting on a chair, one arm rested against the back and the other one doing tossing tricks with a green apple. "But sorry, I can't."

"I am of royal blood and demand to be untied, now!"

"Talking about temper..." Muttered the young man, rolling his eyes. "I can see why Jack knocked you out." He shifted his attention to the fruit in his hand, cleaned it against his peculiar looking clothes and took a noisy bite.

"Yes! That Captain! ...You are... ahm... Ianto, right?"

The other man turned his attention swiftly back to Arthur and made a little bow. "Ianto Jones, at your service."
He took another ear-shattering bite. "You don't mind me eating, do you? I haven't had any breakfast yet."

"No, absolutely not. Suit yourself. Now UNTIE me, servant!"

"Servant?" Ianto frowned at Arthur and continued to eat the apple in a way which made Arthur want to knock it out of his hands. "Did Jack tell you that? Well anyways, prince, I would untie you, I really would if there were ties I could untie you from.

"Then what do you call this?" Arthur rutted demonstratively against his restraints and glared at Ianto but the other man calmly finished his apple.

"Handcuffs."

"Whatever, uncuff me then."

In an impressive toss the apple landed in a bin at the corner of the room. "So you can do what exactly?"

Arthur looked down on himself. "Retrieve my possession, kill that captain and save Merlin."

"Very heroic but sorry, that didn't convince me."

"I promise to spare your life if you free me now."

"And you won't be able to hurt anyone if you stay as you are. Sorry, my prince, but I'm afraid you'll have to bear with it for just a little while longer."

After straining his neck and shoulders in a full blown tantrum Arthur went over to insult Ianto, his ancestors and his no-use-master. Ianto's amused chuckle on the latter part did of course anything but add to Arthur's current mood. "That's right, where is that 'captain' of yours? Does that coward lack the courage to face me?" the prince spat.

Ianto grinned and jugulated with a couple of oranges. "Not at all; he's a bit busy facing your manservant I guess."

"Merlin? What did you do to him???" Arthur almost yelled as he leapt forward. Unfortunately he stumbled and fell flat on his face, missing the chair just by inches.

"What do you want me to tell you?" The other man asked as he pulled the prince up and sat down opposite him.

Arthur took a deep breath to calm himself down."...Is he alright?"

"He is not tied to a pole crying for his dear life if it's that what you mean and I doubt that Jack's sticking any needles into him." Ianto couldn't help a grin when he saw the cocky prince visibly relaxing. "Don't worry, your 'lousy excuse for an idiot' as you liked to put it in your royal tantrum is treated well. I'd rather worry about Jack treating him too well."

"What the hell are you implying???"

Ianto grinned and patted Arthur's head "That we are really nice people."

The prince yanked his head away and huffed. "Nice people don't strip you of all your belongings and render you immobile."

"Oh believe me, they do if you run around threatening random fathers with your big, shiny sword."

"Let's not have that discussion again, alright?"

Ianto grinned, "As you wish, Sire."

"Did anyone ever tell you that you're annoying?"

"Yeah, Jack but he doesn't mean it."

"Sure?"

"Yep."

"You are though..."

"I just pretend I didn't hear that."

"Want me to repeat it for you?"

The young man laughed good-humouredly. "Jack is right, you should work a bit on your people skills."

"UNTIE ME!!! NOW!"

"Easy Tiger, no reason to rouse the whole neighbourhood from their afternoon nap."
Both men turned around to see Jack and Merlin entering the room through a white door.

"Jack! Had a nice chat?" Ianto greeted the captain with a smile.

"Absolutely," the other man smiled back and embraced the sitting Ianto in a big bear hug. "Merlin is a clever boy."

But Arthur didn't pay much attention to the two men and glared straight at his young manservant who seemed to avoid his eyes. "Merlin, you idiot, what are you standing there for??? Do something for God's sake!"

Jack frowned at Arthur. "That was not very nice."

"How I treat my servant is my business!" The prince nodded over into Jack's and Ianto's direction. "I don't tell you how you treat yours."

"Now that would be interesting." Ianto chuckled and leaned back against Jack's chest.

"Are you having kinky thoughts again, young mister Jones?"

"Discipline me, old man."

Arthur huffed and rolled his eyes. "Merlin, free me, now!"

But his young servant crouched down in front of him and shook his head "No."

Arthur stared at him incredulously. "What?"

"I'm sorry Arthur, but I can't."

"See how clever he is?" Jack shuffled over and ruffled Merlin's hair. "I really don't see your problem but if you don't want to have him I might keep him."

Jack and Arthur ignored Ianto's frown and the faint blush on Merlin's cheeks in favour of a staring battle.

"No!"

"Well, you told me he was useless, didn't you?"

"Yeah I did...but I... aargh, you can't have him!" Arthur hissed.

"Now that was convincing." Ianto chuckled and hooked his right arm around Merlin's neck. "Don't you think so, Merlin? Sure you want to stay with him?"

"Merlin, don't you dare listening to them!"

"Why?" Jack gave Arthur a grin which made the prince want to punch it out of his face. "Afraid we could convince him to stay with us?"

"Listen," Arthur took a deep breath. "If you don't want money, what is this all about?"

Jack raised his eyebrows at him. "Didn't Ianto tell you that this is all about hot, sweaty fun in dinky thongs?"

"Haven't come round to it yet."

"Hey," Merlin cut in. "I thought it was loincloths?"

"Ooh, I like that..."

"What???"

The three men looked at each other and started to laugh.

"Not that I'm opposed to the thongs, idea." Ianto threw Arthur a wink "But actually we're waiting."

"For what???"

Ianto looked at Jack who in turn looked at Merlin. "Sure you want to do it?"

Merlin nodded. "He might be a proud twat but he is my twat."

Jack, Ianto and most of all Arthur watched as Merlin got onto his knees and crawled forwards only stopping shortly in front of the prince.

"M-Merlin... what are you..?"

"You shut up now." Arthurs eyes grew wide as he stared at his servant.
Merlin looked questioningly at Jack "Are you sure it'll work this time? I don't fancy his eternal wrath."

Jack nodded and the young man gave a long sigh before he locked his eyes with Arthur's again.

"Erh... Merlin?"

Merlin cupped Arthur's face with his hands "I told you to be quiet, didn't I?"

Arthur's eyes grew to the size of ping pong balls when Merlin kissed him, not pecked his lips but really kissed him.

"Oh wow, he is good." Arthur heard Jack commenting and a "Shush" from Ianto while Merlin continued to suck the remaining air out of his lungs. Then his thoughts became cloudy, his head light and everything faded to black.

"Congratulations!" Jack chuckled, examining the unconscious prince, "You officially snogged him into the land of dreams."

Merlin palmed his face. "If he remembers..."

"You'll be a lucky man." Ianto finished his sentence with a grin. "Don't worry. I'm sure the retcon will work with him.

"You also thought that when you retconned me." Merlin replied.

"Yeah...that didn't go so well."

"Oi, tell me about it!" Jack chuckled. "I was the one who got attacked by flying fruit!"

The young wizard looked at the mess he had created and smiled apologetically at Ianto. "Sorry about that again."

"Doesn't matter. Clean and organized is overrated." Ianto smiled at Merlin. "I'm just happy that you didn't send the knife set flying. They’re Japanese."

~*~

Both men waved one last time at Merlin before the young man disappeared through the shift, carrying the prince on his shoulders.

"You suggested Merlin to snog him, right?" Ianto asked with a chuckle.

"Well, actually I suggested to do the job myself but Merlin convinced me that he would be a better choice."

“He would have bitten you.”

The captain smiled. “Very likely.”

“You would have enjoyed it, wouldn’t you?”

A boyish grin spread across Jack’s face as he nodded.

"I bet Arthur wouldn't have been as surprised as he was if you had been the one snogging him."

"Probably." Jack laughed and closed his arms around Ianto’s waist.

"What did you tell Merlin by the way?"

The captain smirked at his lover. "That his master might not value him or his abilities appropriately yet but that every blockhead comes around eventually."

"Sounds wise."

"Yeah, history taught me that lesson."

Ianto shook his head, smiling. "You owe me lunch by the way."

The captain pushed himself up against his young lover and pressed a gentle kiss into Ianto’s hair. "And there I was hoping for corporal punishment."

"Mmmh," Ianto smiled and pushed back against Jack. "Buy me dinner and we'll talk about that again, Master."

Gaargh, how comes these things grow longer and longer?
Oh I hope I met your expectations with this penultimate sequel x3
