So this week as some of you know there were not one but TWO totally awesome explosions in my neighbourhood that occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning leaving everyone to be evacuated by order of the local police and fire and rescue on Friday while they try to fix the power grid that ended our power, and grass as it was totally burned ( ( Read more... )

I don't hate it, it's just not my thing. I say as long as you're aware that your stories are in fact fiction, to each their own.

I think it gets controversial when slash, and especially incest are invloved, just because they are such taboo subjects.

Any Superstar that has ever googled himself must know these stories exist. I always wonder how the feel about it.

If you write or read fic or hate the idea of it, why?

I read fic all the time. I attempt to write fic but kinda give up on doing so sometimes. I love it because as much as pro-wrestling is a boy's game, it's still geared towards females a lot. I think moreso now than Attitude Era days. It kinda addresses issues the WWE won't talk about but seems implied... like m/m slash.

Do you consider it to be RPF (real person fiction) or do you see it like a character in a book or a play and validate the fiction that way?

It goes both ways for me. I see authors often saying, "This is the first time I've written CM Punk. Sorry if it's not that great." Or whoever. It seems real person enough to try & get it right.

If you make icons and/or write fiction how do see that as a fair use? Do you ever worry about copyright or how the wwe feels?I think that if anything it's good for the WWE & promotes it. I worry every now & then about copywrights but I've never seen or heard of anyone take down a story because of WWE's copywright laws. I have with ( ... )

Sure, it is. But that's what I've heard from the WWE Universe. Young kids on facebook (male) saying homophobic things about them. I will say something to them that no matter what these guys do in bed, it doesn't take away from their abilities in the ring. I can definitely appreciate when guys are secure in their masculinity to do that.

I like to read wrestling fan fiction. Some I like. Some I don't.

The one thing I don't like is the use of the wrestlers real names in fiction (unless of course they go by their real name on TV). It just seems too personal and disrespectful. It also takes my mind out of the story.

But, nothing has really offended or surprised me so far.

Is there a good place to get icons? I'd like some more.

As long as it doesn't go into the husband/wife thing it doesn't bother me. The real names in stories or ok to a certain point. Like calling Trips "Paul" instead of "Hunter" gets too real for me. What about Undertaker? Would anyone (besides a fan trying to get his attention) call him that outside the ring? It's just my personal preference.

The outfit designer for WWE- Julie, Shannon Moore's wife, tweeted Michelle recently and told her to get Terry on Twitter. It amused me. Cannot picture Undertaker on Twitter, lol.

I couldn't, either. I see him saying that his life is none of anyone's business, but that's just me.

I love reading wrestling fan fiction. I don't know why, I just looked it up and got hooked on it and haven't turned back since. I usually read the story as their character depending on how the person writes the story. I know a lot of writers like to bring the wrestlers real relationship into their stories and make them break up, just so the writer story can work out. I know there are fans, writers, etc who would want that to happen just so they can have their chance at Randy, ha! But I think thats just wrong.

For some reason, I like seeing John/Randy together as a couple, but when it comes to actually reading it? Its a no on the Slash.

I read fics if it interests me. I tend to read a lot of 'Candy,' 'Codiase/Codiasi' and 'Centon' with a little BOD slash thrown in for spice. I've even read a few 'JoMiz' fics ( ... )

Yeah, I suppose. I'm sure the fictional extensions of the real people I use would wouldn't react the exact way *I* have them react. LOL

I can't type today!!

Let me ALSO add that the stars KNOW about fanfic/fandom slash... and a few even encourage it.

No? You don't think so? They do.

Randy Orton is a BIG time encourager of the slash. Personally, I think Randy gets a kick out of it.

Why else would he word things the way he does in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8hNyr4z-iU (and I know, John doesn't help it either!)

And his comment on this pic: http://twitpic.com/204pga

look at teds face! He's like "uhh guys....guys....this isn't commercial break.... you've got to stop making out!"

So yeah, they know about it.
