I am absolutely appalled at the state of the Lord of the Flies fandom. The sheer number of high school sophomores and juniors who can't think of a creative plot is just…appalling. And the amount of people who can't write a summary based on the actual content on the story is amazing, as well ( Read more... )

Haha, it says he is XD but the whole premise of evil, black cloak-wearing choirboy is rather appealing (to me, at least, and it appears that other people think so, too).

Haha I dunno, if it were all girls, it could go both ways: The girls going crazy and killing each other over something resembling a brush that they could use, or extreme wangst because of PMS, or some sort of new Amazonian women tribe.

How do you have Bible fanfiction? Does it go something like this?

Being the Atheist I am, I see no blasphemy, but even this is . . . wow, I have to show this to my hardcore Atheist buddy, see what he makes out of it XD Though I've always regarded the Bible as a story, something so many people believe that it's become regarded as truth. And if you're Christian, no offense intended.

So, about that R! Does it stand for 'rofling' or something? 'Lord of the Rofling Flies'?
