So this morning, as I sat at my desk and tried to figure out if the various symptoms I was feeling were just a combination of sinus problems, a sore shoulder and gobs of stress or the early warning signs of a heart attack... I came to the realization that I need a change. Time to lose some weight and get more active

Just looked over that Dr. Gourmet site. Some of his recipes look pretty good. Have you tried any yet?
Father/son Tae Kwon Do sounds like a really nice idea.

I haven't tried any yet. I'm planning to print out the shopping list and maybe start on Sunday. I'll give it a week and see how it goes. Even if I don't stick to the diet I want to start eating more healthy. I'm cutting down on soda big time and increasing my water/juice intake. I'm also going to make an effort to eat some fruit every day.
I got a good night's sleep last night and my arm isn't as sore, so the heart attack symptoms are no longer manifesting, which is nice. I'm going to make it a point to get to bed at 11pm on weeknights, so I can get my sleep.
Yeah, I thought it would be fun doing Tae Kwon Do, but with my bad ankle I could probably start doing yoga before I could do Tae Kwon Do.

I need to adjust my sleep schedule too. Big time. I went to bed "early" last night (3:30am) and still slept until 1:00pm. That's lame.
Is yoga something you and Zac could both do? Or would it be hard for a kid to concentrate that much? I loved yoga when I was doing it.

Yeah, I definitely need to get my sleep schedule normalized. The past few weeks it seems like I'm exhausted all the time... I just didn't have energy for anything. I'm thinking stress has a lot to do with that. Hopefully that will improve by next week. But I think regular sleep can only improve my state of mind.
Dunno if Zac would be interested in yoga. It's probably not high impact enough for him.
