My first five pages of NaNoManGo

*Waves* I've been wanting to do this since I saw it, near the end of last november, so I'm excited to give it a try. The story I'm going to do won't be playing to my strengths, I don't think, so it's going to really stretch my ability. And, develop it, I hope. -___ ( Read more... )

WOW! It's looking good! I'm liking the layout.

~looks up nanmango~ I never knew about that one before.

I'm trying out the Nanowrimo myself for the first time ever. XD It's kinda hard with no plot, no time, and all that. But I figured it was a good excuse to get excited about writing again. ^__^

With the layout, I'm trying to play a bit with the western subject matter and characters and a more manga-ish layout. It's neat. ^_^

Yay! Even if you only write a bit, it's still fun. :)

You should think about doing nanomango next year, it'd be neat to see your stuff.

Sounds like fun! Combining to things you love. ^__^

It is fun. I used to write everyday. It was like my meditation. I've gotten away from that.

Mmm... I like to draw, but that would be too much drawing I think. XD I'm more of a writer. I only draw to help me along with the story. So whatever the opposite of a graphic novel (A text comic maybe? XD)

Illustrated book! Claim that each picture is worth a thousand words. Cuz, you know, it is.

Mmmmm, like dinotopia. Or that one... But the guy... With the people who live in the sea... By Gordon R. Dickson. I can't remember if it was 'Home from the Shore' or 'The Space Swimmers'. I think it was the first one. Anyway, it's illustrated! *heart*

Hehehehe. You should do it toooooo. Make your own Johnny comic. OH! I get it now! The Nny thing. That's what he likes to be called, right? It's the opposite of 'john'.
