CSA Thursday - Week One

Last year I stopped recording after a while, but I'm hoping to be better about blogging something, at least, so this is a good place to start. Mmm, sounds good! We haven't done a CSA since I took my new job (it's a little far to do midday pickups at the one I used to belong to, and the one here in my new work-town is REALLY pricy) and I kind of miss it, but we've made a commitment to go to the farmers' market every weekend! And this year, of course, we have our own veggie garden too.

I think the food is the best part of summer. :-)

This one is a little farther away than last year's, but I think it will absolutely be worth it. Most up here that I know of have pick-ups from mid-afternoon to early evening. Ours is 3 to 7. I'm envious of your huge garden. I just didn't have it in me to do more than the little one I did, but I'm looking forward to our tomatoes and beets. :-)
