"If my boyfriend cheats on me it wont even cross my mind to be upset with him. I’ll just cry until the other woman apologizes and we'll all hang at the malt shop."
This made me laugh SO hard! Oh man! Thanks for this list. I would've loved to see the accompanying panels or cover art. Note to self: Find a Sea Captain . . .

This was just funny. Kind of sad that some people still believe this stuff, but so ridiculous, I can't help but laugh!

Sorry this is kinda OT but I've been looking for old romance comics for like ever... Yours aren't for sale, are they?

I'm sorry, they aren't. There are always some for sale on ebay, though.

The Comics Code: Removing all references to nasty things like drugs, death and vampires but leaving you with all the racism, sexism and domestic abuse your little heart could ever desire!

Ugh, I bought a book about the history of the Comics Code last year, and spent most of the time reading it banging my head off the wall. For instance, did you know Superman was a fascist icon according to the moral guardians? *Facepalm*

20. A suitable proposal: Will you marry me, you dimwit?

That one could be reasonable and funny, given the right circumstances and the right characterisation of a relationship... I'm willing to bet it just wasn't done here though.

LAF, what? Wasn't a primary reason he was created (or at least picked up and published widely as a comic character) was to be a pro-American symbol against fascism and communism?

Seriously! Apparently it was due to a reference in either Mein Kampf or something that Neitzche wrote, which was then associated with Naziism, about the 'rise of the superman'. Unrelated, just slightly unfortunate coincidence on the names. But yeah, Superman as a fascist. The mind boggles.

Oh, and Batman was designed to seduce young children into the evils of being GAY, don'tcha know. The comics code era was FUBAR.
