Man, what I wouldn't give to try one of those fellas with some garlic butter and some nice, warm wheat rolls...

... I may be kinda hungry, yes. What a magnificent critter, though -- SO HUGE!

Yeah, it's big. That's why I wouldn't want to eat it. If it's anything like lobster, you'd want the smaller ones, as they have more flavour.

...how does he weigh 15 pounds but produce 20lb meat? i presume they meant 150lb, but that's some interesting fractal crab right there

Oh, I hadn't noticed that. Yeah, must be a typo.

It says, "Would have produced 20lbs of meat". Since those crabs can get to about 30 lbs, I assume they mean when it was fully grown.

it also says, "Claude is 100 times bigger than a standard UK shore crab." it's more reasonable to assume a typo instead of a weird subtext of adult size.

It's big, but I think the camera angle makes it look even bigger.

Yeah, that crab is pretty big, but the photo is a bit misleading.

I really don't know what to think of this... they say "15lbs" several times, so I'm guess he would have made 20 lbs of crab cakes.

Also, he's more the size of a chihuahua than a small child like the picture suggests. (15 inches... you could fit him on two 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper, the short way!)

I'd say this is good photography rather than a sea monster.
