yeh that looks like anencephaly to me. possibly some other genetic fubaring in there as well but obvious on the first part.

Indeed. The rest of the facial weirdness might be part of the misshapen skull, though.

Also, yes, the baby would have been dead by the time the video was taken. Anencephalic babies are often stillborn, and the longest that one has survived after birth is six days.

I heard of one once that was kept "alive" for two years on a ventilator. Baby K, I think. Of course it never gained any sort of consciousness, but they managed it somehow.

That's so terrible! It looks like a miscarriage to me. Or maybe she did some heavy drugs or something? It does look dead though. I hate to see that. Poor baby. :(
