Whoa! And I thought the banana slugs I used to get in my shower were big.

Pretty freakin' cute, though. I wonder how raspy his little mouthparts are. That would be my only caveat to holding him.

I've kept a few giant millipedes in the past. I've never gotten a hickey from them, though?! Maybe it's stains from their defensive secretions? They're kinda iodine-colored. My hands used to look like old-smoker hands from it.

I used to let them crawl on my face when my boyfriend at the time had his loser friends over (being gentle with them, so I didn't scare them into getting repugnant fluid in my eyes -- owie). It got rid of them, post-haste. They're beautiful creatures, and pretty easy to care for and keep healthy. And watching them eat broccoli by plucking each separate stem-thing was about the cutest thing in the universe.
