Last minute extra ticket...

...to the preview screening of Star Wars: Clone Wars tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10am at Silvercity Metrotown. Yes, I know it's short notice considering that we'll need to get there by 9am, i_chaos_bringer just dumped an extra ticket in my lap tonight. Oh well, I'd hate to see it go to waste and this should be a good occasion (hey, it's a Star Wars Opening

Would have taken it but working and then a friends birthday.

So how was it when you finally saw it? Was it worth all the hassle of waiting and moving into another theatre and did you guys still get to sit together?

By the time we got in the theatre, the seats we had were taken and there weren't any together, so we ended up leaving. They gave us a free ticket voucher plus a coupon for free popcorn, so it wasn't a total loss.

It was just *about* worth the hassle, we managed to get seats together but not as good as the central seats we had in the first theatre. I felt bad for the people whose seats *we* took, a group of kids who seemed shocked that everyone didn't go back to their original seats in a nice orderly fashion, but there wasn't a whole lot we could do by that point as our original seats were gone

I kept thinking they'd show the Harry Potter trailer while we were waiting and waiting, since it was Warner Bros and presumably the same target audience. I have already seen it online, but it would have been nice to see it on the big screen.

Just as well - I came home and slept for four hours!

Are you going to Dr. Horrible/BIFF on Friday?
