The whole scene with the Wave and Tam Snr, Simon and Jayne - wonderful!

Thank you. I've had a couple people indicate via email they want lots of plot involving Tam Sr. and his death, but it's not going to happen. I don't want to have much plot in this, because that would involve planning it out more than I already am. LOL.

This thing is already a helluva lot bigger than I had anticipated, considering it started off as a little one shot story.

And hot. I had never thought of these two working before and now I'm with River- get to the naked bits! But I love that you're making us wait. You're being true to the characters and their motivations, how they would really respond in this situation. As a reader, I'm so grateful. As a fellow Ficcer, I can appreciate how carefully you have to craft your tale to push the boundaries and make it not only believable but riveting, compelling and utterly addictive. Lovely.

Gah, this is a total fly-by post as I should have been out the door five minutes ago but, LOVELY! ^_^ There is one thing I've been thinking about though while reading these last few fabulous installments and that is that, well, I'd kinda like to see River refer to herself in the first person before they make love (aka Jayne gets "to the sexin’ (her) up” ;P). I just think that it would show how her mental state has in fact improved and would squash any lingering...um, uneasiness? squick even? regarding them being together. It would show how she really is of sound (enough =P) mind to make the decision. That is truly is consensual.

Er... so yeah, pleeeease don't get me wrong here, I absolutely LOVE what you're doing with this fic, how you're writing the characters/their interaction. I totally have faith in you and know I'll enjoy whatever you come up with next, this is just a small suggestion I figured I'd offer. Take it or leave it at your discretion! :)

So pretty. I loved Jayne giving River his Ma's ring and explaining why it shouldn't be fixed. River giving Jayne a ring made of gun parts was brilliant. And of course, the wanting of 'naked parts' was excellent.

I really like the ring made of gun parts. Believe it or not, a friend of mine actually has a ring like this, that his Grandfather had made during WWII when he was fighting in Holland. It's a neat looking ring.
