Why thank you! This is such a fascinating 'verse to write in and I definitely think muddle-minded!Dean is one of my favorites of his various incarnations. I mean, it's all about the tension between his past ways of thinking and the ones being trained (and beaten) into him and sometimes he loses track of which is what, ya know? *hugs the boy* And dude, Sam is such a meticulous villain. I think "down to earth evil" totally makes sense and that is pretty much how he tries to explain (or, really, *market*) himself to Dean - it's like "this may seem bad, but I'm just being practical, see how much sense this makes?" ... said the serpent to the lady in the garden. ;-)

Hey you! *smishes* I'm glad Dean's early reactions seemed realistic to you, that was definitely the first part of this piece that I wrote and was sure would stay through to the end. Also, it's funny because I rarely think about my stories as porn, even when they could be classified that way, because "porn" seems to suggest that the smut's primary purpose is the arousal of viewers and I hope mine does more than that (even if it does some arousing as well).
