Oh so wonderful!
“To hell with your estimation of my estimations, Jack.”

“Brilliant turn of phrase, Elizabeth.”
Yes, but she does so sound like him with that line, doesn't she? :)

I love your use of Donne in this. Speaks so well in this. Can't wait for more!

Thanks so much, love! :) So glad you liked the Donne, and Lizzie's Jack-speak. More is on the way, hopefully next weekend if the work Gods are smiling.

Holy hell you're an amazing writer. I get flutters in my stomach when I read your writing, it's so natural and intense and beautiful and flowing. It seems effortless, and I'm just swept along in the story.

That being said, one thing did jar me a bit. This sentence "she crumpled against Jack, boneless and simpering...". Simpering? That usually means to make some sort of self-consciously coy smile. Perhaps you meant "whimpering"? Not to put words into your mouth, but...I have to know!

:-)

Oh crap, friggin' typos. Damn, damn , damn. Yep, was supposed to be whimpering. Am off to fix it. *kicks spell-checker*

Thanks for the heads up. :)

And thank you for reading and commenting. *hugs* I'm really, truly honored to know that my writing moves you, and that you enjoy it. It's the thing I love best, and it is so uplifting and encouraging to know that it inspires you, that it reads naturally.

Thank you so much! You've made my evening. :)

Oh, good, my brain is happier now that I know it was just one of those "not spelled wrong but wrong-word" things that spellcheckers can't catch! I was hoping that Elizabeth wasn't simpering, because that would just Feel Plain Wrong!

You made my evening as well, seeing another installment of this series! You're my favourite PoTC writer, so I always say "YAY!" when I see a post from you.

Yeah, simpering would have been really off. Getting giggly just thinking about it (well, thinking about it and drinking, ehem). Stupid spellcheck is killing me lately, as I've gotten into a bad habit of fat-fingering, and every time I go to right click and correct this stuff, I keep hitting the wrong bloody word. Thanks for catching that for me!

And thank you so, so much for the accolades. I'm super-excited and flattered to know that I'm you're favorite POTC writer, especially with so many talented authors writing in this fandom. It's a huge compliment, and it means the world to me.

Thanks so much, love!

Thanks so much! :) So glad you're enjoying the story. It feels really good to be back in the fic saddle after a long, sweltering summer of buy-outs, promotions, and house-hunting.

I am so happy you again posted to pirategasm... That way I didn't miss it!

Lovely, lovely. I can just imagine how tough it must be for Elisabeth in this new world. Because even if she is King of it, it is still new to her. Love how you write Jack to. Just right. And I can just imagine how many twists and turns there might be in Shipwreck Cove... I loved it, if you couldn't tell... ;-)

Thanks very much for following the series and leaving such lovely comments! I'm really glad that you love the story - and that Jack and the maze that is Shipwreck City felt real. :)

*hugs*
