[ACTION; in and around household]

[Olivier seems a little disgusted! It appears the children are now both drones, and she's having trouble keeping them out of the war room. Tsk. There will be bodies if this keeps up, and you can see it in her eyes as she partakes of morning coffee on the porch like an old lady.]

[Oh right. It's hard to get used to the fact that Jurgen wasn't there to answer his calls.]

I can do that. Doesn't look like I'm doing anything better anyway.

[Ahaha, small polite laugh here.]

It's the lull before the next battle. [W-what is that laugh.] I'll be expecting you then. Coffee or tea, Cain?

If you have some tanna tea, that would be good. If not, recaf is perfectly fine.

[Awkward...] You're not home. You'll get what Mayfield has. Coffee. Or. Tea?

You think I don't know that? Though until recently, we had very few competent leaders, besides myself.

I hope you do not mind the report written in High Gothic. You may find the runes strange.

Very well.

[he seems slightly miffed.]

How do you fare, Major-General?

[Space marine small talk, there.]

[Zevran is more than a little sad that Cynric seems to be droned - and for good; Heph is noticeably missing - but, as there's absolutely nothing he can do about it, he's trying to forget about that fact beyond avoiding Cynric's drone as much as possible. Unsurprisingly, this takes him outside, where Olivier is. While he wasn't exactly looking for her, he's certainly not going to complain about the company.]

Good morning, my dear. It seems we have the house...more or less to ourselves now, yes?

[She glances up and the corner of her lip twitches up just a bit, fondly. She takes great care to hide that behind her coffee cup. The "good morning" she ought to toss at him is bitten back quite carefully--of course she must remain distant, maintain the persona.]

Seems that way. I can't say I care; aside from their nosiness, it's preferable.

[Too bad Zevran's gotten so good at reading her. He sees that twitch of her lip, and as far as he's concerned, it's good enough for him. He offers her a smile.]

I cannot agree with that, but...I have lived with Cynric far longer than you. [He pauses, and for a moment, the genuine sadness he's been trying to avoid even feeling, much less expressing, comes through.] ...almost since I arrived, in fact. Next month will make it a year that I've been here.

A year... [She remembers, vaguely, his arrival. Interesting how things can change.]

I hardly knew Cynric, but if you need to grieve, by all means, do so. [She does glance back at him. Does she care that he's upset?]

[Written report, is she serious

Wait of course she is, this is Olivier

Stuffed into your mailbox some time today will be a note that reads the following, in terrible handwriting:]

I learned that I can outrun 3 houses being thrown at me because I am a CHAMP
