[ACTION; in and around household]
[Olivier seems a little disgusted! It appears the children are now both drones, and she's having trouble keeping them out of the war room. Tsk. There will be bodies if this keeps up, and you can see it in her eyes as she partakes of morning coffee on the porch like an old lady.]

How do you fare, Major-General?

There appears to be someone in this town from my own time... though I think he is from a time well past my own.
His name is Cain. It appears you two have already met, based on your open call there. I... have been disturbed by what he has told me. About the future of my world. It would appear the bright hope of my time has faded into something unfortunate.

The future of your world... That obviously isn't something set in stone. If you don't like it, try to change it. I'm not going to consider it when I think of how you're functioning within my army.
After all, what do any of you know about what I really do, or what I really am in my time? I could tell you anything, and you'd believe it.
Focus on the now, and maximizing what you have. None of us is in any position to ask more than that.

General. I am a leader and a judge of men. I would not offer my sword to the unworthy. I know what you do, on some level, though not the details. And I learned a bit more recently, from an almost-casual comment on your part.
Do not worry about my focus, I am Astartes, and I know my duty to all of the people here.

Do your duty without even stopping for one moment to think of the consequences. You're in the hands of capable people. We will succeed, or we will keep trying until they exhaust every avenue of recourse. Even then, we will just stop breathing.
