I still don't know how you found out I was keeping chips at home...

Do you want to go Christmas shopping sometime with me, Tru?

O-oh. Do you want to go shopping with Maya and Pearls, then?

Tut, tut, Wright. Sleeping in on the weekends is bad for your sleep cycle. [[Edgeworth neglects to mention that due to the sleeping meds, he slept until 1 PM.... >_>]]

Re: the truth. That's what the two of us learned last year, isn't it? Sometimes it takes a greater effort to uncover the truth than I'd like, but that doesn't mean the goal is any less vital to everyone involved in the legal profession.

I've never had a good sleep cycle to begin with.

And that's what you showed me last year, yes... I haven't forgotten. Actually, with the last few people I've had to face in the courtroom, I'd almost forgotten that it's not a completely unanimous sentiment...

Are you sure you don't want to share the bed with Maya? There really isn't anywhere else for you to sleep unless you want to use a sleeping bag.

I'll wash the sheets before you two come over.

What do you mean if I snore loud? I don't snore out all (I think!!)!! And you can't sleep on the floor! His floor is even smellier! o-O;;;

I'm sorry to be adding to your troubles, Wright, but I have to say I have no complaints regarding your work for me so far. If it means keeping up that level of performance, I'm more than happy to grant you the occasional time off to spend with your daughter.

...Thanks, Gavin. Sorry for leaving so abruptly on Friday.

But about what we talked about then--about taking on those sorts of cases? I'd rather you didn't.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite grasp your meaning. I told you that I would not force you to work on any case that made you uncomfortable. Have you changed your mind about that?

No.

I'm talking about about you working on those cases yourself, and getting a client a verdict they don't deserve. I'd rather you didn't.

Raising a child really is hard work, isn't it? I wonder if this is what Sister Bikini went through when she raised me...

It's because I don't have experience at all with being a parent, really. It was different with Maya and Pearls... there wasn't nearly so much responsibility there.

I've heard it gets easier each time, though. N-not that I'm planning for more, of course! But, uh, Bikini had experience with raising children before you went to Hazakura, right?

You could always find people to help you raise her.

She might have. I do recall some other children being there at one point, but they didn't stay long.

Help...? Well, I don't know if anyone would be interested...

Trucy and I are managing pretty well by ourselves, though.
