Yesterday was Saige's due date.  I had a midwife appointment yesterday, which didn't exactly go all too well.  It was rather stressful.  I found that my blood pressure was high, so Carolee took some blood and urine samples to send to the lab to make sure I wasn't developing pregnancy induced hypertension.  In the case of that occurrence, I would

I have no idea why, but the last sentence makes me giggle uncontrollably.

And, incidentally, a castor oil shake sounds absolutely like one of the worse things anyone could purposely drink. So I hope you don't have to do that and the baby comes fast and safe with minimal coaxing.
