It's my birthday, I'll read if I want to!

Dec 15, 2011 07:05

The December One Card Draw is now OPENCLOSED! This is a special birthday draw; I'm hoping to make enough to fund a consolidated website; I have an offer from a friend and I need about $175155 (my memory was a bit off and my friend gave me a discount by way of donation). If I make it, I'll give away a complex nest read! I will read till this evening ( Read more... )

Toucan comes to advise you that editing may be important; make sure there is no superfluousness...and, if there is, remember that you can always turn a negative into a positive with creative thinking! Good luck!

Wow. Yeah, one bird pretty much summed up my month thus far! :)

Funny thing is, we use technology a lot (it's my favorite method of communicating ANYway---cause ya know, introvert here)--texting, sending emails, referring to songs on the radio, even leaving cards in each others cars (which is a form of technology--pen and paper!).

We both know it's an active choice, it's just when we get pulled in so many directions that the first thing sacrificed is OUR time, and while necessary sometimes, it's not the best for either of us.

I gave a small donation. Wife has too much on her mind to really worry today about it, so gave what I knew would be "safe" and will get back to you later probably. :)

Thanks!!!

Happy birthday! Enjoy it well :3
May I have a card? Maybe some k ind of advice or guidance. I feel like I'm stuck, but I don't know how to explain it.

Thank you! So far, so good! :)

For you, I drew the Phoenix, a powerful symbol of rebirth, new beginnings after dramatic death, rising from the ashes, transformation, renewal and evolution. This bird encourages you to take charge of your own life/fate.

Good luck!

Thanks! Ooh, interesting one! :)

Hrm, interesting. You got Goldfinch. This bird brings flashes of insight, usually sudden, bright and complete, though occasionally barely grasped or elusive, they speak of suddenly seeing something that was hidden, especially a hidden choice.

Knowing what's going on in your life as I do, I'm really interested to see how that plays out!

Oh man, I could surely use a card draw today. My question is mostly one about direction. How best do I go about doing what I need too for my kiddos' health, since we have a variety of options at this point.

Thanks!

Again, it can be really interesting when I know the person I'm reading for!

For you, I drew the Bat! This is the unexpected, the one who turns everything on its head. The bat encourages making peace with one's dark side, finding the good in it.

I hope that helps!

Well... it's certainly poignant.

I think you should find someone who wants to work WITH the challenges, rather than try to eradicate them, if you know what I mean. *hug*
